2 reserves transferring from U-M football team

Michigan's off-season roster attrition is beginning.

Running back/defensive back Ross Taylor-Douglas is transferring to another school and will have two years of eligibility remaining. He confirmed the news -- first reported by 247Sports and scout.com -- in a text message to the Free Press.

Also this morning, a Scout reporter tweeted that backup defensive back Terry Richardson also will leave as a graduate transfer.

Because both will have degrees, they can play for their new teams next season, without having to sit out the usual one-year transfer penalty.

Taylor-Douglas, from Avon, Ohio, redshirted as a freshman in 2013 and played in 15 games over the past two years, including five as a reserve running back this past season.
