Michigan Wolverines Still In Lead For Elite 2017 Offensive Tackle

Our Michigan football recruiting news update for September 20th:

Most recruiting experts believe that four-star Plantation (FL) offensive lineman Tedarrell Slaton is a heavy lean towards the in-state Florida State Seminoles, but the picture he is currently painting puts the Michigan Wolverines far and away in the lead for his services.

"The coaching staff. That's what keeps them on top," Slaton said of Michigan, via 247Sports. "I want the chance to play in that stadium one day."

He added that he hopes to visit Michigan next spring or summer -- a visit that will give Michigan a major opportunity to sway him away from schools like Florida and Florida State who carry a natural geographic advantage.

Slaton is currently listed as the #33 overall prospect and #7 offensive tackle in the Class of 2017 by 247Sports' industry-generated Composite Rankings.
