Michigan Recruiting News: Wolverines "Moving Up" For 5-Star CB

The Michigan Wolverines have been making a strong push for five-star cornerback Darnay Holmes (Calabasas, CA) of late, and it appears to be paying off. Holmes recently told 247sports that Michigan is "moving up" in his recruitment.

“Coach Jim Harbaugh is building a monster up there," he said. "My best friend David Long is going up there in June. Dylan Crawford is up there. A lot of California guys go up there. That shows Ann Arbor isn’t a bad place to go."

Holmes went on to continue to praise Harbaugh, saying he's someone he would enjoy playing for:

“Harbaugh seems like a funny guy. I haven’t met him in person but that definitely could be a life changing experience. Seeing those videos are funny. It shows he’s got a great social life."

The 5'10", 190-pounder is ranked as the top cornerback and No. 8 overall prospect in the country.
