Michigan Football Rumors: Oliver Martin Update, Bo Schembechler Interview & 2020 Recruiting News

Michigan Football rumors are heating up around Oliver Martin, Bo Schembechler & 2020 Michigan Football recruiting news heading into the 2019 CFB season. As James Yoder reported last week, Michigan WR Oliver Martin might be looking to transfer, or at least is 50/50 torn on his future with the Michigan Football program. Is Oliver Martin going to enter the transfer portal or will he stay with the Wolverines - Yoder brings you the latest on Martin after he returned to camppus over the weekend. 

On the recruiting side of things, is 2020 4-star recruit A.J. Henning leaning toward a commitment to Georgia? Henning visited UGA over the weekend & has another official visit with Notre Dame on this weekend. He will take an official visit to Michigan on June 21 and is expected to commit in the next month or so. How will Henning’s decision impact Michigan Football’s 2020 recruiting class?

In a feature on USA Today celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bo Schembechler becoming Michigan's head coach, its reported that in the job interview in December of 1968, Bo reportedly told AD Don Canham that Michigan Football under former coach Bump Elliott was “soft” when asked about  the embarrassing 1968 loss against Ohio State in Elliott's final game at Michigan.
