Michigan Football Rumors: Brandon Peters Injury Update

The Michigan Wolverines are down another quarterback. Starter Brandon Peters left Michigan's loss to Wisconsin after a hard hit in the third quarter. Video of the hit is below.

Peters was taken to a local hospital by ambulance as a result of the hit. Jim Harbaugh said that Peters suffered a head injury and was dealing with a headache, but flew home with the rest of the team on the team plane.

Peters was actually knocked unconscious after the hit, hence the reaction from the Wisconsin defender. Peters was carted off after the hit.

Peters' CT scan came back clear. The good news is we were privately told by a member of the Michigan football coaching staff that "he's ok." However, his status for Saturday's game against Ohio State remains unclear.
