Michigan Football Recruiting: Wolverines Make Cut For Top Uncommitted Recruit

The Michigan Wolverines have five-star defensive Micah Parsons (Harrisburg, PA) as one of their top targets in the 2018 class, and their recruitment is paying off so far.

Parsons released his top nine schools on Twitter this weekend (even though he said it was a top seven), and Michigan was one of the schools that made the cut.

Ohio State is currently though to be the leader for Parsons, though Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Penn State are all big challengers. He had committed to the Nittany Lions in February 2016, but decommitted last month.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder is ranked as the No. 1 weak-side defensive end and No. 3 overall prospect in the country by 247sports' Composite Rankings. He is the top uncommitted player.
