Michigan Football Recruiting News: Wolverines Out In Front For Top 2016 Offensive Guard

Four-star Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha Catholic offensive guard Terrance Davis is currently the top-rated offensive guard in the Class of 2016, according to 247Sports. He may also be a future Michigan Wolverines star if things stay as they are.

"Michigan is still #1," Davis told 247Sports National Analyst Ryan Bartow. Davis has scheduled his official visit to Michigan for the Ohio State game on November 28th. "The atmosphere for the spring game was crazy. When I visited, I had dinner with Coach Drevno's entire family and that meant a lot to me. They looked better against Utah. Utah is a Pac-12 contender and the team looked different under the new staff. They fought. Coach Harbaugh brings a lot of energy and the atmosphere he's created around Michigan football has been great."

Georgia, Alabama, UCLA and Maryland round out Davis' current top five.

Davis is currently ranked as the #59 overall player in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports. He also holds offers from the likes of Florida, Florida State, Ohio State and Tennessee.
