Latest on pursuit of Otis Reese
Four-star linebacker Otis Reese (Leesburg, GA) has been committed to Michigan since June 2016, but the in-state Georgia Bulldogs have been making a very hard push to flip him. However, Sam Webb of 247sports reports that Michigan still has a "good chance" to land him.

A couple of weeks back Reese made his way to Ann Arbor for the first time since the spring game. A source close to his recruitment indicated that he was joined by his mother and stepfather and his brother, Central Michigan defensive back Du’quaun Jamison, made it down from Mt. Pleasant for the weekend as well. I hear the visit couldn’t have gone any better. Reese and his entire family reportedly enjoyed it.

Player wise, Reese spent a great deal of time with Devin Bush, Quinn Nordin, and a few others. The comfort with the guys on the team was apparent to everyone on hand. And while he connected with the entire coaching staff, it’s his bond with Partridge that is giving Michigan a good chance at holding on.

The 6-foot-4, 206-pounder is ranked as the No. 5 outside linebacker and No. 87 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247sports Composite.

Michigan one of two favorites for OT grad transfer
Rice grad transfer Calvin Anderson and he has a lot of interest in transferring to Michigan.

“My interest (in Michigan) is higher than it was, and it was already really high,” Anderson told Maize N' Brew's Trevor Woods. “Michigan sits high on my list. I had great conversations with coach Harbaugh, coach Drevno, and all those guys.”

“I have my personal metrics,” Anderson said. “They are both individual places, so it’s hard for me to give a public difference between the two because they are both in their own lane. Texas and Michigan are just both amazing places.”

Texas appears to be the biggest threat to steal the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder away from the Wolverines.

Wolverines offer 4-star 2019 QB
Michigan has offered a scholarship to four-star 2019 quarterback Paul Tyson (Trussville, AL) on Wednesday, he announced on Twitter.

Tyson is legendary head coach Bear Bryant's great-grandson, and as such, it should come as no surprise that Alabama has already offered him a scholarship and are the current favorites to land him.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder also has offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee, and USC. He is ranked as the No. 6 pro-style passer and No. 294 overall prospect in the country, according to 247sports.
