Michigan Football News: Wolverines To Host State's Top 2018 Prospect This Weekend

Four-star offensive tackle Ryan Hayes (Traverse City, MI), the top prospect in the state of Michigan for the 2018 recruiting class, is set to visit Ann Arbor over the weekend, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247sports.

He visits on Saturday and will stay overnight. He's at ND on Friday and will leave there Saturday to get to Ann Arbor. From there he goes to East Lansing.

Don't expect a decision until end of summer unless something changes.

Notre Dame is currently the heavy favorite to land Hayes, with Michigan State ranking ahead of Michigan going into this weekend's visits to all three schools. At this time, those three appear to be his clear top group, though he holds offers from eight other schools.

The 6-foot-7, 252-pounder is ranked as the No. 8 offensive tackle and No. 90 overall prospect in the country, according to 247sports.
