BREAKING: NCAA Rules Michigan QB Shea Patterson Eligible For 2018 Season - Announcement Coming Friday

Shea Patterson is going to be Michigan's starting QB in 2018. After being told by sources for several days to 'get ready' for Shea Patterson eligibility appeal decision, yesterday I was told "a decision has been made but not sure if good or bad".

Now, I can confirm with 100% certainty that the NCAA has informed all parties that a decision will be announced tomorrow (Friday April 26) that Shea Patterson will be granted immediate eligibility to play in 2018, as well as 5 other former Ole Moss players.

Why the hold up? With the NCAA, you always expect something that is ridiculous... and here it is: The NCAA is worried about media backlash and this story being "too big" since the nature of multiple players gaining immediate eligibility is unprecedented. As such, the NCAA will release the news Friday in a classic "Friday news dump" in order to be massively overshadowed by the media focus on the NFL Draft that begins tonight in Dallas.

I will have more on this breaking story on Shea Patterson in the coming hours up until the announcement is made official.
