Zach Novak's Field Goal Odyssey Continues - Kicks Longest Field Goal in Michigan Stadium History

Former Michigan basketball forward Zack Novak has proved a lot of people wrong in his Michigan career. In spite of everything he's accomplished, there was presumably a faction of people that believed he could not kick a 56 yard field goal. Rather than let field goal elite ruin his life like they have so many others, Zack just went out and proved them wrong. It wasn't enough that he hit a 50 yarder last year. The people still wanted more, so he did this.

According to this database, Zack Novak just kicked the longest field goal at Michigan stadium by a Michigan player. Previously it appears that Jay Feely held the record with a 51 yard shot when we hosted Baylor in 1997.  I've updated the list of longest field goals by Michigan kickers.  Congrats on the #1 spot Zach.
