Michigan WR Csont'e York was suspended indefinitely last month for what coach Brady Hoke called "a failure to meet team standards", but now we know what he really meant by that.

In this video, posted by MLive.com, you can see a man police have identified as York punching a 23-year-old man and knocking him unconscious. The man clearly doesn't see the punch coming, and immediately falls to the ground:

According to the Ann Arbor Police Department, the victim lost a tooth, broke his jaw in three places (it was eventually wired shut), and had to breathe through a tube until his jaw healed.

York, 20, will be charged with a count of aggravated assault and two counts of aggravated battery on August 22 in Ann Arbor's 15th district court. Here's Brady Hoke's full statement on York's suspension:

“Csont’e York is suspended indefinitely for failing to meet team standards and will not report for fall camp," Hoke wrote in a statement at the time. "We demand that every person in our program represent the University of Michigan and the Michigan football program the right way on and off the field. When people fall short of that, there are consequences.”
