Michigan Football Recruiting: Two 4-Stars Set to Visit on May 30th

Fort Wayne (IN) 2016 four-stars Austin Mack (WR) and Auston Robertson (TE/DE) will visit Michigan on May 30th, 247Sports reported.

The group will likely be accompanied by the mother of both prospects. The Wolverines likely trail in both races, making this last visit incredibly important in both races.

Robertson recently removed Ohio State from his top 3 and inserted Michigan, along with long-time favorites Michigan State and Notre Dame. "I am not really liking Ohio State like I used to any more," Robertson said. "I'm starting to get a little closer with Michigan.

"I am pretty close with Michigan State," Robertson said. "I have a good relationship with all the coaches and, actually, I was just on the phone with all the Michigan State commits. We were just talking about football and it was pretty cool. If I was to go there, I already have a relationship with the players.

"Notre Dame, I was supposed to get down there next weekend but I think I'm not going to be able to make it due to a 7-on-7 tournament. I am going to try to get down there because my mom really wants to see it down there. If I don't go (next weekend), I am going to try to plan something for my mom to go down there so she can talk to the coaches."

This will be the second time this month that Robertson has visited Ann Arbor, and he came away impressed about his first trip to Rivals.com earlier in May: "I got to have dinner with Coach (Jim) Harbaugh and a couple other coaches," Robertson said. "One of the coaches told me that he saw something on my transcript that I didn't have that I was supposed to have. So, he sat me down and went over my schedule with me and gave me advice on what classes I should take. That means a lot; not too many coaches would do that."

Mack is set to announce his college decision at the RAS camp in Fort Wayne on June 7th and is currently working on trimming his list. "I'm trying to do as much research as I can so I can finalize my decision and pick the school that's the best fit for me," Mack said. "I might come out with a list here shortly, but right now I'm still trying to figure out my final schools." Mack is rumored to have narrowed his decision down to Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Tennessee.
