The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the latest to extend an offer to four-star linebacker Josh Ross, who currently stands as one of the Michigan Wolverines' top linebacking targets for the Class of 2017.
Considered one of the best inside linebackers in his class, the West Bloomfield (Mich.) St. Mary's standout holds offers from the likes of Michigan State, Cincinnati, and Ohio State in addition to Michigan and Notre Dame.
According to sources cited by 247Sports' Tom Loy, "this looks like a Notre Dame-Michigan-Michigan State battle."
Ross is currently listed as the No. 114 overall player in the country, No. 3 inside linebacker nationally and No. 3 prospect in Michigan in the Class of 2017 by 247Sports.
