Braylon Edwards talks trash to Brady Hoke on Twitter?

Former Michigan, and currently unemployed, WR Braylon Edwards has called out Brady Hoke and the Michigan coaching staff via Twitter. If only Braylon has any connection to Hoke or anyone at Michigan, he could have just called them and cleared the air. Oh wait, he does. Edwards played at Michigan under Hoke in the 2001 and 2002 seasons during the tenure of long-time head man Lloyd Carr. While Hoke was coaching on the defensive side of the ball, he clearly knows who Braylon is and the former 1st round pick could have easily called Michigan and chatted with Hoke.

So what is the fuss over? Well, Bray's little bro Berkeley Edwards is a junior RB at Chelsea HS in Michigan and Braylon feels that the Michigan coaching staff should be showing him some more 'love'. In Michigan's defense, the 5'8" Berkeley is an unranked recruit right now and Michigan is the leader for 5-star RB Ty Isaac from Illinois.

See the Tweets below, which also include some humorous back and forth with a 'fan'.

Oh this isn't the first time Braylon has taken it upon himself to talk trash publicly about a Michigan head coach. In early 2008, on the Mike Tirico radio show on ESPN, Braylon has the following to say about new head coach Rich Rodruguez at Michigan:

“I’m glad you gave me a Go Blue question because Rich Rod gave the No. 1 jersey to an incoming freshman DB and the No. 1 jersey has never been worn by anybody outside of a wide receiver,” Edwards said. “It dates back to Anthony Carter, (Greg) McMurtry, Tyrone Butterfield, Derrick Alexander, David Terrell, and yours truly. So I’m going to have a talk with him about that the next time I see him.”

When is that call coming, Edwards was asked?

“He’s getting that call soon -- very soon. Exactly, we have a jersey scholarship fund for this whole deal. What is he thinking?”

Small bit of advice Braylon . . . get a job and get off Twitter.
