The Michigan State Spartans Women’s Basketball team picked up a commitment from Lauren Walker this afternoon for the 2021 class. The 6-foot-2 wing hails from Marietta, Georgia.
Walker played in 28 games as a junior this past season. She averaged 14.3 points per game, while hauling 11.5 rebounds per game. Offensively she was averaging a nice 4.1 boards per game. Additionally, the rising senior was averaging 1.8 blocks, 1.8 steals, and 2.3 assists.
While Walker ranks No. 112 in Georgia per Max Preps, she averaged 38-percent shooting from the field last season and 30-percent from three point range.
