The 2025 season has been one to forget for Jonathan Smith and Michigan State football, but there may be some good news on the horizon in the form of a three-star Wisconsin decommit.
Michigan State has gotten plenty of bad recruiting news over the past couple of weeks, starting with a decommitment from four-star wide receiver Tyren Wortham. The Spartans had originally flipped him from UCF, but with more interest coming in, he has decided to reopen his recruitment and weigh his options.
Following Wortham was four-star linebacker Braylon Hodge from Colorado. He was one of the Spartans’ fastest-rising commits, but he took a visit to Michigan and decommitted.
