MADISON, Wisconsin — The state of Michigan did not fare well against the University of Wisconsin football team in 2019.
Wisconsin defeated Central Michigan, 61-0, on Sept. 7. Then, the Badgers beat the Michigan Wolverines, 35-14, on Sept. 21.
And on Saturday, Wisconsin capped its run with a 38-0 win against Michigan State.
That prompted someone from the Wisconsin football official Twitter account to try to stake claim to Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
