INDIANAPOLIS – RJ Williamson has a target date for his return to the field for Michigan State – Nov. 21.
That's when the senior safety started campaigning, the day MSU pulled off a 17-14 win at Ohio State that led to the Big Ten East title, Big Ten championship win over Iowa and College Football Playoff opportunity against Alabama. And there was no way Williamson, who had biceps surgery Oct. 4, was going to get his way.
He did return to the practice field the next week, though, leading into a senior day rout of Penn State.
