College sports’ governing body followed through by taking the unprecedented step of announcing Wednesday it would significantly limit attendance to its lucrative men’s basketball tournament over the next month with the ongoing spread of the coronavirus.
“They completely listened to the panel,” Dr. Amesh Adalja, one of the members of the advisory group, told the Free Press on Wednesday evening.
