National signing day was under way Wednesday morning and like many of the state’s outstanding football players, Mount Pleasant’s Tyler Huenemann was all too happy to sign on the dotted line.
But unlike many of his peers, Huenemann did not sign a National Letter of Intent, guaranteeing him a free college education.
Instead, Huenemann signed a letter that essentially will leaving his parents paying thousands of dollars for his college education.
How can this be?
Huenemann is one of the top players in the state’s 2020 class. The impending tuition bills are because Huenemann will play his college football at Harvard.
