With Tom Izzo back out on the recruiting trail this week, visiting a couple of his top 2026 targets on Wednesday, it got me thinking: who will be Michigan State basketball's next commit?
So far in the 2026 class, Izzo has landed four-star point guard Carlos Medlock Jr. who has gone from completely overlooked in the recruiting rankings to a top-70 prospect in the nation. Many believe that Medlock is going to be a special point guard for Izzo, and he has all the tools to lead the team when Jeremy Fears Jr. ultimately leaves.
There are still several top targets left on the board and about 3-4 open spots to fill.
