Tom Izzo wasn’t thrilled after Michigan State basketball’s win over Penn State on Saturday afternoon, but he’ll take a win on the road in the Big Ten any way he can get it.
The Hall of Fame head coach wasn’t happy with how many missed layups the Spartans had, as one reporter in the post-game presser pointed out, Michigan State was just 6-of-18 on layups — Izzo even said that number was probably generous.
Missing layups has been a common theme for the Spartans this year, but that’s something you know he’s going to work on at practice all week.
