EAST LANSING — A coveted second national championship is two wins away for Tom Izzo.
Worrying about that, however, goes against the ethos of this year’s Michigan State basketball team. The Spartans’ sole focus, they have said for the past two months, turned to staying in the moment with all of the injuries they were battling in February.

That leaves Izzo’s pressing thoughts entering his eighth Final Four more on getting through Texas Tech first before worrying about the bigger picture.
