But the former Michigan State cornerback one-upped them Saturday afternoon. He became an NFL draft pick — and his football-focused family was beside him to celebrate.
The Jacksonville Jaguars picked Scott in the fourth round with the No. 137 overall pick. He was the first Spartan to taken in the 2020 draft, marking 80 straight years a Spartan has been selected in the NFL draft.
