Nightmare doesn’t even begin to describe the past few Michigan State football games. The Spartans began the season 3-0 with some juice after a Boston College overtime win, but since then, it’s been nothing but sadness.
Michigan State has lost three straight games, including a 38-13 dud at home against a 1-4 UCLA team that just fired its head coach a few weeks ago.
The Spartans are searching for answers, but those might come in the form of a coaching change whether it’s fair or not. Jonathan Smith’s second season at the helm has been anything but impressive and “underwhelming” feels like the right word here.
