EAST LANSING, Mich. –
At the request of the Spartan football program, donations from the unclaimed raffle tickets will be made to the Greater Lansing ($10,000) and MSU Food ($6,772.50) Banks as well as four local homeless shelters, including Volunteers of America, Gateway Community Services, City Rescue Mission and Haven House ($2,500 each).
In addition, the MSU Athletics Department will distribute funds from the raffles to: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, Ele’s Place, ChadTough Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Magic Foundation, MSU Safe Place, Sparrow Foundation, Special Olympics and United Way.
