Monday marked the start with the release of the hopefuls for the Bednarik Award, which goes to the nation’s top defensive player. Michigan put two players on the list, defensive end Kwity Paye and cornerback Ambry Thomas, while Michigan State linebacker Antjuan Simmons joined them. All three are seniors.
