EAST LANSING -- The idea of all college basketball transfers becoming immediately eligible without sitting out a year is still in its infancy, as far as the NCAA is concerned.
But Michigan State coach Tom Izzo thinks it's likely that the idea will become a reality, and will hurt players and the sport if it does.
"Kids are going to get hoodwinked into doing things, and it's going to hurt them in the long run," Izzo said Tuesday on "The Drive with Jack" on WQTX-FM in Lansing. "If anyone wants to post me up on that, I'd be more than happy.
