Three ex-MSU players to learn fate after 'seduction' plea in sexual assault case

Exactly one year to the day after they were charged with sexual assault, a trio of former Michigan State football players are scheduled to learn their fate.

Former Spartans Josh King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance have a sentencing hearing scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in front of Judge Rosemarie Aquilina in Ingham County Circuit Court in Lansing. All three in April agreed to plea deals to lesser charges that could potentially allow them to avoid jail time.

King, Corley and Vance all pleaded guilty to a felony charge of seduction, a law that hasn't been updated since 1931 and is punishable by up to five years in prison.
