The Spartans did it again, and by “it” I mean go out and prove me completely wrong. My prediction was downright awful and Michigan State made sure I knew about it with their complete sweep of Fresno State.
After having to relocate to Fifth Third Ballpark in Grand Rapids for the weekend they looked like a completely different team. Whenever the Spartans are forced to play outside of East Lansing they perform very well.
Michigan State finished the series victory with a 8-2 win Sunday afternoon, where they clinched the sweep and are now hopefully back where they need to be in terms of playing good/consistent baseball.
