EAST LANSING -- Everyone who knew him has their Jud Heathcote stories.
The colorful former Michigan State basketball coach created no shortage of memories for his former players, colleagues and fans throughout his nearly two decades in the job in East Lansing.
Those stories were told often on Monday night and Tuesday, after the news spread that Heathcote died at age 90 in Spokane, Washington.
