Sure, the Spartans played an inferior opponent. They didn't blow them out like many people thought they would, but they did get the W. MSU did dominate the ground game on both sides of the ball, but struggled in the passing game.
Some fans think MSU should have clobbered CMU, while others say the team showed class by putting in their scrubs in the 4th quarter which allowed the Chips to come back.
