Pat Fitzgerald made a big move over the weekend that has already paid dividends for the future of the Michigan State football program.
The former Northwestern head coach announced that he’d be retaining Courtney Hawkins as receivers coach and Brian Wozniak as the team’s tight ends coach. That means that most of the coaching roles are filled with the exception of a running backs coach, offensive line coach, defensive line coach, and another defensive backs coach.
The staff is coming together, slowly but surely.
With the retainment of Hawkins and Wozniak, some key players have hinted at returns for the 2026 season.
