The 2021 College Football Hall of Fame ballot was released Tuesday with a handful of players and coaches who hold connections to the state of Michigan.

Voting goes until July 7, with a Hall of Fame class announcement in early 2021. The official induction will take place Dec. 7, 2021, at an awards dinner put together by the National Football Foundation.

Here's the list of nominated players and coaches from in-state colleges, along with individuals who played and coached for the Detroit Lions, on the ballot:

Michigan State OT Flozell Adams: He was the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year and first-team All-American in 1997 under coach Nick Saban.
