DIMONDALE — Miles Bridges walked up behind Rocket Watts and grabbed him in a playful headlock
“Boy!” Bridges barked in Watts’ ear.
Watts, his serious look quickly softening into a big grin, responded. “What’s up, my guy?”
The NBA rookie pulled the incoming freshman combo guard out of the somewhat uncomfortable moment as Watts explained why he is not yet enrolled at Michigan State. And more importantly, rumors that he wasn’t coming.
