North County High School issued an apology Monday for comments made during a student-led livestream of its football game against Battle High School on Friday night in Bonne Terre.
The broadcast was part of a digital media class at the UniTec Career and Technology Center. The director of the program issued an apology through the North County High School and North County athletics Facebook pages.
Comments from broadcasters called the Spartans "a rough team," with one of them saying his research into Battle taught him that the team's players are comprised of "kids from really rough situations and puts them in a school.
