EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP)- Matt Costello had 15 points and nine rebounds for the Spartans in Thursday's loss to Iowa, 76-59.
Peter Jok scored 19 of his 23 points in the first half to help No. 16 Iowa build a lead. Michigan State (16-2, 3-2) was down by 22 points at halftime.
Denzel Valentine finished with 14 points, five assists and four rebounds.
