Michigan State basketball has been expanding its 2026 recruiting board lately, and one of the newest targets has been exploding this summer.
Tom Izzo offered Carlos Medlock Jr. back in mid-June, and it felt like a slight reach considering he wasn't exactly the highest-ranked prospect in the class. He was a three-star prospect and wasn't even ranked by some services yet. However, his recent performance with Phenom United this summer has people singing his praises.
In fact, Medlock even went off with Izzo in attendance, dropping 20-plus points in a tournament with some of the best recruits in the country.
