EAST LANSING – Carson Gatt has played in some special venues during his four-year career at Michigan State.
For his first three seasons, the Spartans senior defenseman played lots of games at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit – Great Lakes Invitationals, Big Ten games against Michigan and the Big Ten Tournament.
Then there’s an outdoor game at Soldier Field in Chicago, the Big Ten Tournament at Excel Energy Arena, the home of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild in St. Paul, and just two weeks ago, a first visit to the Little Caesars Arena, the new, luxurious home of the Detroit Red Wings.
