The NCAA has extended the recruiting "dead period".

With the coronavirus sweeping across the country, the NCAA announced Wednesday that the ban on in-person recruiting will continue through at least May 31.

The Division I Council Coordination Committee and the Division II Administrative Committee released a statement saying that both committees "will continue to be guided by experts to determine" whether a further extension is needed.

The NCAA previously instituted a recruiting moratorium in March, as COVID-19 diagnoses first began popping up.
