MSU Women’s Basketball: Spartans pick up Purdue transfer Tamara Farquhar

The Michigan State Spartans signed graduate transfer Tamara Farquhar yesterday. The four-year for the Purdue Boilermakers will head to East Lansing this fall as a combo guard/forward.

Farquhar averaged 6.5 points and 6.1 rebounds in the 23 games she played this season, but began the season on a hot streak averaging 10.1 points and 8.0 rebounds over the first seven games. Overall, she played in 106 games for Purdue through her senior season, and started in 89 of them.
