The Michigan State Spartans moved to 4-0 on the season this afternoon, concluding a four game homestand against Bryant in style. MSU’s 100-60 victory over the Bulldogs also marked head coach Suzy Merchant’s 300th career win at the helm in East Lansing after she hit her 500th career win as a head coach Tuesday night. It also marks the fourth time in the past five seasons MSU has opened the season 4-0, and seven out of the last 10 seasons.
Michigan State had a change to today’s starting lineup on the season as junior guard Moira Joiner remained on the bench in warm-ups following an ugly fall Tuesday night against Valparaiso in the closing moments.
