Key stats: Built on an excellent sophomore season in almost all statistical categories, Lombardi threw for 2,258 yards and 25 touchdowns as junior. Those numbers ranked near the top of Class 4A, and had just five interceptions. He completed 57 percent of his passes on the way to the state semifinals. Lombardi is a tough running threat also, going for 404 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground in 2015.
