MSU publishes alumni magazine dealing with Nassar scandal one year after Engler spiked it

The teal is there. The ribbons are there. The stories examining how Michigan State University ignored reports that Larry Nassar was sexually assaulting athletes are there.

One year after then-interim President John Engler spiked an issue of MSU's alumni magazine focused on the fallout from the Nassar scandal, the school has finally published the magazine.

Engler is no longer at the school, forced out by public pressure and the board. Acting President Satish Udpa is in charge.

"What a difference a year can make," magazine editor Paula Davenport wrote in her introduction to the issue.
