Michigan State Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Walt Drenth has reportedly retired effective today. Drenth was appointed as the director of the men’s and women’s track & field and cross country programs at Michigan State on June 2, 2006. He joined the Michigan State program as head men’s cross country coach and assistant men’s track & field coach in 2004.
