MSU hoops notes: Recruiting targets move closer to decisions

EAST LANSING -- Michigan State had two primary class of 2019 targets visit for its Michigan State Madness event nearly two weeks ago.

Now, both are moving toward a decision with Michigan State still in the mix.

Five-star forward Trayce Jackson-Davis and four-star forward Malik Hall both named Michigan State among their three finalist schools in the last week.

Jackson-Davis, an Indiana native rated the No. 15 player in the country by 247sports, named the Spartans in his final three along with Indiana and UCLA.

Hall, who is from the Chicago area but plays at Sunrise Christian in Kansas, named the Spartans a finalist along with Oregon and Purdue.
