MSU football holds players-only meetings, not hitting 'panic button'

EAST LANSING — Players talked to each other. Players listened to each other.

And they kept their conversations and demands between themselves.

After Michigan State’s loss to Northwestern on Saturday, captain Joe Bachie promised players-only meetings. The Spartans held them Monday.

No coaches, no animosity, said players after practice Tuesday.

“It was nice. We just talked about things, in-house things, we need to work on,” senior receiver Felton Davis III said.
