MSU Football Flips Tyren Wortham From UCF

Jonathan Smith earned another commitment to his 2026 recruiting class, and this one may be his biggest win yet. Tyren Wortham is a 4-star wide receiver from Sarasota, FL, where he plays for Booker High School. This is a significant recruitment not just for his 4-star rating, but also the fact that he was previously committed to another program, Central Florida. After taking an official visit this past weekend, he has now flipped to Michigan State. He is 6’0” tall and 175 pounds.

With Wortham, the Spartans now have two WRs in the 2026 class along with 3-star Zachary Washington.
