EAST LANSING – It was a seemingly innocuous question for Tom Izzo on Thursday, ostensibly about playing Florida Gulf Coast:
“What are your priorities for Sunday, Tom?” a young scribe asked.
Izzo paused for a second. And he danced around the topic like an expert.
There was someone more important from Florida on his mind at that moment he couldn’t really speak about directly.
